PLASMA

Plasma metal cutting is a form of domesticated lightning. In nature, the sheath of the lightning moves very quickly over a great distance, this natural electric arc ionizes the air which it crosses and more in the immediate sheath of the lightning. The principle of plasma cutting is similar, where the giant electric arc of lightning moving over great distances, sometimes kilometers, is this time fixed, of very small size (a few millimeters) and these are the gases that are rubbed there which move at a speed close to the speed of sound.

  • Manual cutting

    Our plasma range can be used to cut all materials from 0.1 to 50 mm with maximum quality and reliability. The portability and high power of our inverters allow them to be perfectly suited for all maintenance operations. The duty cycle at 40°C allows use for heavy duty operations, including automatic applications.

  • Mechanized cutting

    It is generally found in an industrial installation for use in large production cycles. Mechanized cutting is usually optimized for either high quality cutting or high speed cutting; moreover, Sahel Gaz uses these systems which are capable of cutting extremely thick materials.
